Obtaining a Bangladeshi visa is a very easy process. Entry, visit, tourist and business are the types of visa Bangladesh offers, these visas are categorized in single, double and multiple entries. Whatever the type of visa you apply for, you have to pay a fee to the Bangladesh embassy. The fee differs from country to country. The validity of Single-entry visas is 6 months from issue date and Double & multiple-entry visas are valid for 6 to 12 months. A maximum of 90 days is the duration of staying for all types of ordinary visas have and if needed, the duration can be extended.

Required documents:

• Valid Passport: Your passport must be valid with sufficient blank pages for any visa stamps. One other thing, the passport expiration date must be greater than six months from the date of entry for the visa you are applying for. If your passport does not meet the requirements, you must renew your passport or obtain a new one before applying for the visa.
• Application form: You will need two copies of completed visa application form along your passport. Visa application form can be obtained from your nearest Bangladesh embassy.
• Photographs: You also have to provide three identical 2 x 2 passport style photographs in color, front view and with a plain/white background.
• Others: if you want to visit Bangladesh for business purpose you have to provide some official documents. In this case you will need to provide, a business letter of financial responsibility which should be typewritten on company letterhead and addressed to visa Section, Embassy of Bangladesh of your country. This letter must include the purpose of travel, guarantee of financial support and should be signed by an officer or manager at the company. If you want a work visa of Bangladesh, you should gather all the required documents from the sponsor who is providing you the job.

It takes 24 hours for processing single-entry Bangladesh and 48 hours are needed for all other types of visa. You should finish all the paper work regarding visa before visiting Bangladesh. All the necessary permits will be given with the visa for your legal travel to Bangladesh from Bangladesh embassy if you provide all the required documents correctly.
