Journey to Saint Martin Island - Striking Travel Destinations of Bangladesh

On the last Friday I and few of my friends decided that we need to go somewhere. So we look for options in the internet and we found a cool site named TripBD.com where we found all the information about places in Bangladesh that we should visit. After a long look we selected Saint Martin Island.

After the place was selected, the next thing on the agenda was making a tour plan and budget for a pleasant trip. TripBD also helped us in this subject too. At last by finishing all the preparations, we started our journey to Saint Martin’s Island in the luxurious bus service of Scania of Greenline Paribahan. It took about 12 and half hours to reach to Teknaf. From then we have to take a ship to go to Saint Martin’s Island. There are quite a few ships that go to Saint Martin’s and Keari Sindabad is best among them. We already booked our tickets from my home back in Dhaka. So as soon as we reach to Teknaf, we got on board in ship and at 9:15 am the ship started to sail for Saint Martin’s Island and within two and half hours we arrived at Saint Martin’s Island.

The island was one of the most beautiful places I have ever visited as I have visited several places in Bangladesh and outside as well. First we check in into the hotel which is the best hotel in the island and named Blue Marine Resorts. Then we freshen up had some snacks. After that we went for a sea bathing session in the crystal clear sea water of the island. It was fun bathing in the warm clear water of the sea, after that we came back in the hotel had a shower and had our launch with fresh fishes of the sea. The specialty I thought was the drink of coconut water; it was so sweet and refreshing.

Staying in the Saint Martin’s Island is lot of fun. Especially the scuba diving is an amazing experience to have. It was a magical world under the sea. Another amazing experience was the walk through the sea for getting into the Chera Dewip. Chera Dewip is a tiny islet just beside the main island. In the period of low tide can go there on foot across the sea. When I was walking in the sea, I felt the enchanting feeling that might felt when prophet Musa cross the Nile on foot. That’s not all; spending night in the open sky is a unforgettable experience. The hotel made arrangement for some tents as we requested, than we made a camp fire and have a B & Q. the night sky was clear with lots of stars and a moon in the middle which add some more spice to our enjoyment.

So we had a very successful trip of Saint Martins Island which was very pleasant, enjoyable, and unforgettable and once in a life time experience for us. And all of these were possible for our proper tour planning and preparation which wouldn’t be possible without the help we get from TripBD.com.
