Still nobody discover the origin history of the name Rajshahi . But there is a say in this matter that once upon a time there was a Bramhon land lord who used to collect tax at the reign of Murshid Koli khan in the place “ Rajshahi Chakla”. His name was Udoy Narayon. And Murshid Koli khan declared him as a King. Possibly Rajshahi name has been established from the partly last words of two name (Raja’s RAJ & Badshahi’s SHAHI) as Rajshahi.

In Rajshahi there are Primary school-1107, High school-566, College-138 & Madrasha-181 & can have many more.

Rajshahi is flourished with some famous bigger rivers like Padma, Jamuna, Atrai, Mohanando etc.

Rajshahi is fill up with some historical & sightseeing spots these are The holy Grave yard of Hajrat Shah mokhdum ( R) , Puthia Kings House, Big kuthi, Putia Dulonch, Small Annique, Rajshahi central botanical Garden, Bank of Padma, Rajshahi University Campus, Sardha police Training centre etc.
